Weighing system on a bridge crane with electromagnet
From Peru, Mr. Elmer Carranza sent us a specific application SIPEL achieved with products developed in collaboration with the Department of Engineering SIPEL, a weighing system on a bridge crane with electromagnet used for clearance of grinding balls.
Our client: Metallurgical Peruana SA MEPSA was incorporated on May 12, 1960. On July 1, 1964, began operations MEPSA being, rather than grinding balls and pieces of large tonnage and accuracy, a team that produces its own steel recycling. Provides technical and engineering solutions, adapting processes and materials to user requirements. Proud to be recognized as a demanding and profitable steel exporting multiple industries globally. Typical Alloys Sections Mining Agribusiness
The problem: MEPSA, grinding balls shipped to the domestic market and some South American countries, the firm is performed using an electromagnet accumulating your product to reach full charge. The problem is that such measurements need to be aware of the different types of ball dispensing hoppers either trucks or containers (export) to use the electromagnet generates its own magnetic field and difficult to install equipment common scales, the field distorts magnetic readings scales.
Our solution: INDUSTRIAL ESEL SAC developed a weighing system, using beam type load cells and indicators SIPEL Apollo model, as developed by engineers SIPEL. Load cells were installed in the crane trolley, outside the area of ??influence of the magnetic field signal cells taken as a starting point to a transmitter APOLO, housed in metal cabinet on the bridge crane. From here the signal is carried by wire to the operator`s cab of the crane, which is the dispatcher. We should mention that the system allows the crane move in all directions without losing the original calibration of the balance.
Final Product: INDUSTRIAL ESEL SAC and SIPEL, conducted a necessary solution for many years, for our client MEPSA.
